In 1976Liberty State Park in Jersey City , NJ was opened for public to celebrate the United States bicentennial. With the spectacular view of the New York City Skyline, the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, this place is New Jersey ’s best well kept Public Park .

The people of France have long admired the American spirit of independence. In 1876 before 100 years celebration of the American independence from Great Britain , Edouard de Laboulaye, a French scholar and authority on America , planned a gift for the American people a monument for America ’s symbol of democracy and friendship.
